A Tale of Furry Endeavors - Day 2 - Nightlife

Now, I'm not really much of a dancer. Well, being honest, I'm not a dancer at all, I swear I'd fall on my face from dancing if I didn't have decent balance, but I took a look inside and knew I wanted to break loose. I had never been to this con before and this was the time to dance like I never have before. I was already doing something I never had done before, so dancing like a loon at a rave seemed like a good first-timer to do here as well.

I quickly put most of my stuff down, cause I was flat out ready to flail. Flailing is what I planned to do, and flail I did. A steady stream of awesome techno / trance songs kept the dance on its feet. After exerting nearly all of my energy and hopping in for several dance trains, I was ready to roll again. By ready to roll, I mean completely void of energy. Dancing was going to have to come to an end, for my body could move no more. Well, that was an unfortunate choice of words, cause I had to head up a set of 20+ stairs to hang out with some chilluns. There was a loooooong line for the elevator, and I wasn't going to be slouching around for 15 minutes waiting for an elevator up. No, I would rather be an idiot and stumble up stairs for 10 minutes instead. Stairs, stairs, stairs. It seemed like that staircase in Mario 64, the endless one to the 3rd form of bowser. I saw two people the whole time I was going up and almost feared if I were to faint how long it would take someone to find me.

I managed to arrive at the floor I was heading to and had a great time hanging out with people. I won't delve into details about it (some drinking involved), but it truly was a great time.

A small gang of us (about 6 or 7), decided to head down to the zoo (which is a gathering area for furries). I was hesitant, but eh, whatever, I just danced the night away, so I followed. Good times were had by all. Even though we didn't do much socializing out of our group, it was still interesting to see groups and groups just mingling and chatting.
